The Hungarian Capital is a real jewel and has deserved this name. The famous Danube panorama with the Parliament and the Castle hill belong to the world's cultural in heritage. Hardly any of the cities combines so much history and everyday life in a harmony like Budapest. A modern city of the world, a cultural center with theatres, Opera and concert halls, old and new meet in Budapest.

A substantial sightseeing with a visit to Heroe's Square, Parliament, Basilica and Matthias Church in Castle District etc. End of the tour is in the biggest covered Market Hall. You have a possibility to taste Hungarian cuisine in the frame of an optional programme: Try the taste of Budapest. Our guests are greeted with a Hungarian brandy, you can try specialities of the Hungarian cuisine like Salami with home made bread and cheese. Then comes the turn Warm specialities like stuffed cabbage, bean soup, etc.

Dinner and overnight at the hotel. After dinner you can take part in a one hour boat ride on the Danube.

This day is free day, but we also offer you some optional programmes:
Budapest is a capital with spas in Europe. A very interesting way of leisure time is to Visit one of the spas. Budapest offers you more than 100 spas. Just to mention two of them, famous Gellért spa in art deco style or the biggest of Budapest's spas, the Széchenyi in the city park.

Another unique side of Budapest is the system of caves under the city. You can visit a Cave of Stalactites with a special guided tour. Dinner takes place in one of the Csárda restaurants with gypsy music.

Hungary's national holiday on the 20th of August is combined with a lot of festivities. Highlight of the events is the big fire work from the top of Gellért hill in the evening. The best position to watch it is offered by a boat ride on the Danube.

Today we get acquainted with Hungary's history in details. In the morning visit to the summer residence of Queen Elisabeth of Habsburg in Gödöllő. We continue to Visegrád, Hungarian royal ruins and a great view of the Danube Bend. Lunch in the mediaeval restaurant "Renaissance" in Visegrád.
After visiting the sights we come to Esztergom (seat of the Hungarian archbishop,  Center of Hungarian Christianity). In the evening we come back to Budapest and from a boat we look at the fire work. 1 glass of sparkling wine is included.

Concert in the famous "Sissi palace" of Gödöllő

Advent, advent - a candle is burning. In the Hungarian capital there are thousands of lights burning in the pre Christmas time. A highlight of the tour is an Advent Concert in the famous "Sissi Palace" in Gödöllő, which was the favourite palace of Queen Elisabeth of Habsburg. Let us go back into the nice old times of Kings and Queens.

A full day excursion to the Danube Bend. First you visit a small romantic city of artists, Szentendre, then we continue to Visegrád, where is an old place directly at the Bend of the Danube.
Royal castle of Visegrád is a good example for Hungarian Renaissance art. Lunch at the mediaeval Restaurant "Renaissance" in Visegrád. Return to Budapest hotel. There is a surprise waiting for you, we go to a typical Hungarian restaurant with gypsy music. We wish you a pleasant evening!

In the morning you start your sightseeing to get acquainted with the Queen of the Danube, Budapest. After your city tour you can pay a visit to the Christmas market. In the afternoon you are going to Gödöllő. There is a possibility for a visit to the royal apartments (supplement). Dinner in a restaurant in Gödöllő. Christmas concert in royal ambiente. Return to Budapest, overnight in the hotel.

2. Day:             
In the morning you can have a look at the most interesting and beautiful monuments of Budapest in the frame of a sightseeing. In the afternoon you pay a visit to our Christmas market. Dinner and overnight.
There is a possibility of a performance in the State Opera House or in the Operetta theatre.

3. Day:             
An excursion to Gödöllő, where you visit the summer residence of Queen Elisabeth of Habsburg. You visit the royal appartements. Afterwards we visit the Church of Máriabesnyő, which is a popular target of pilgrimage in Hungary
In the evening a dinner in a typical Hungarian Csárda with gypsy music and folklore programme.

4. Day:             
In the morning free time for shopping in Budapest. There is a possibility for coffee break in the famous Budapest Café Gerbeaud. In the evening we wait together for Santa Claus. You can listen to Christmas carols. A nice buffet dinner is served in you hotel. After dinner you have the possibility to attend to a traditional midnight service in one of the churches of Budapest.

5. Day:             
Today is Christmas day. Enjoy a day in peace and harmony, as you like it. We suggest you a half day excursion to Szentendre. This is a small but beautiful city close to Budapest, in the Danube Bend. We make a pleasant walking tour in the narrow streets of the city. You have the possibility for a visit to the Marcipan Museum, and afterwards for a coffee and cake in the Marcipan Café next to it.

The village of Hollókő is in the northern part of Hungary close to the city of Eger in a protected territory of nature and is a part of the world's cultural in heritage of UNESCO. The old village with its picturesque white houses is watched over by the castle of the ravens. The group of people living in this village belongs to the Palóc, a special ethnic group in Hungary, being proud of their traditions, folk dances, language and traditional costumes.


Eastern is celebrated in the traditional way with procession on Eastern Sunday, special food and performances of different folklore dance groups from the whole area. It is also a nice part of our country in the autumn time, when women are spinning and singing in their special meeting room for long evenings.

1.day: Budapest - Eger
Győr - Budapest (informative sightseeing) - Eger. Check in to the Hotel and dinner.

2.day: Eger - Szalajka Valley
In the morning a walking tour of the beautiful baroque city of Eger with a cathedral,
Bishop's Palace, church of the Minorite order, old pharmacy, colourful houses.
A visit is paid to Castle with its underground caves. In the afternoon we start a tour to
Szilvásvárad and walk to the Szalajka Valley with its old oak forest and water falls.

3.day: Folklore in Hollókő
Excursion to Hollókő: greeted by the ladies of the village in their tradition costumes.
Enjoy a Hungarian brandy and a speciality of bread. Visit Hollókő in a walking tour. Enterance to the workshops of local handicrafts and to the castle.
Lunch in Hollókő with folklore programme in the spinning room.

4.day: Eger - Gödöllő - Danube Bend
After breakfast leave Eger for Gödöllő (a possible visit to the royal palace). Leave for Esztergom through the Danube Bend, visit the biggest Roman Catholic Church of Hungary, continue to Győr and further home.

Big Round Trip in Hungary

4.day Eger - Lake of the river Tisza - Debrecen On our today tour first we travel to the 2nd biggest river of Hungary, Tisza. It is one of the natural areas of Hungary under protection. In frame of a 2 hours long boat ride you can see the river and watch the birds alongside of the river. 4 persons are in one boat, during the boat ride you can taste Hungarian pogácsa and consume mineral water or another soft drink out of you picnic basket. In the afternoon we reach  the Puszta of Hortobágy. Here we are taking part in a Puszta programme with horse show and a ride on horse driven coaches. Enjoy your lunch in the Puszta. 6. day Pécs - Wine route in the Villany Hills In the morning a walking tour in the historical city center of Pécs. After our tour we start for a visit to the home country of one of the most famous Hungarian wines, to Villány. Wine tasting and dinner in a local wine cellar. Overnight in Pécs.

7.day Lake Balaton We start today to Lake Balaton. In the afternoon we arrive at the Hungarian sea. Check in to a 3 stars hotel in Balatonfüred. Farewell dinner in a typical restaurant with wine and music.

3.day The city of Eger is located in the valley between two ranges of mountains, Bükk and Mátra. It is a nice historical city of our country. It is city of baroque with a huge cathedral, ruins of a medieval castle, which played an important role in our fights against the Turks.

At the same time Eger is also an internationally known city of wine and spas. In the afternoon you pay a visit to the Valley of the Beautiful Women, located near to Eger. You can find here a lot of historical wine cellars. There is a possibility for tasting wine with a small imbiss.

4.day Lipica Stud. An excursion to the mountain range of Bükk. Visit to the stud of Szilvásvárad with the famous Lipica horses. Walking tour in the romantic Szalajka Valley. Return to Eger.

5.day Departure. En route there is a possibility to visit the royal palace of Gödöllő, where Queen Elisabeth of Habsburg liked to stay.

More the 700 castles and palaces make the imperial heritage of Hungary, among them construction of Romantic and Gothic or Baroque styles. Some of these palaces have been turned over to elegant hotels. As a consequence of this fact you cannot only visit these palaces in the tour but you can also stay at them.

1.day: Sopron - Lake Balaton
Arrival in Hungary via Sopron. Possibility for a visit of the Eszterházy palace in Fertőd, called also as the Hungarian Versailles. Entrance to pay extra. Trip to Somogygeszti (cca. 20 km from Lake Balaton)

2.day: Lake Balaton
In the footsteps of famous composers at Lake Balaton. Today we go to Keszthely (capital city of Lake Balaton) and to the Baroque palace of family Festetics. It is one of the popular target of tourists, since 18th century in the possession of the noble family Festetics. A highlight is the collection of pieces of music by Haydn and Goldmark. Alongside the northern side of the Lake we reach the peninsula Tihany (famous Benedictine Abbey) and Balatonfüred and finally we come to Siófok on the southern side of the Lake. (entrance, ferry not included). In this tour there is a possibility for wine tasting in Badacsony. Late in the afternoon we return to our palace hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

3.day: Pécs
Today we reach the Mediterranean city of Pécs in the southern part of Hungary. (sights of the city part of the world's cultural in heritage, city of the famous Zsolnay porcelain). The history of Pécs goes back 2000 years. You can see here grave chambers of the Roman times, mosques of the Turkish times, slim minarettes, fine porcelain made by factory Zsolnay. After a sightseeing in Pécs we reach our palace hotel close to the city. Dinner and overnight in a palace hotel.

4.day:   Wine route Villány and Siklós
Today you are going to learn about wine. Villány is one of the well known wine regions of Hungary. Red wine of the region is famous in the world. We make a walking tour among the wine cellars and we also taste the famous wine in one of them.

5.day:   Szekszárd - Budapest
Via Gemenc forest (a paradise of wild animals, under natural protection) alongside the Danube we travel to Budapest. Gemenc forest has a territory of 50.000 hectares, located next to the Danube between Pécs and Budapest. You can make a rail ride by the small forest railway or a boat ride on the Danube. With a nice lunch we finish our programme.

6.day:   A full day excursion to Gödöllő
Royal palace of Gödöllő, favourite palace of Queen Elisabeth of Habsburg. Visit to the apartments beautifully decorated with tapestry and marble. Walk in the park. /Enterance with a guided tour included/
Trip to the Church of Máriabesnyő, a popular target of pilgrimage, constructed by the noble family of Grassalkovics.
2 more kilometres and we arrive at the right place for Puszta romantic. This is the equestrian farm of the Lázár brothers with an elegant horse show, ride on horse driven coaches. Dinner.

7.day: Excursion to the Danube Bend
Today you are going to visit Szentendre - Visegrád - Esztergom, picturesque places of Danube Bend.
Optional: Competition of knights and lunch in the mediaeval Restaurant in Visegrád. Lunch is served by servants of the court of King Matthias in the presence of King and Queen. Tunes of mediaeval lute music.

In this tour you can get acquainted with the famous wine regions of Hungary and naturally you are going to taste Hungarian wine. Of course you have a look Budapest, capital city of Hungary and you should not miss a folklore programme either.

1.day: Arrival in Budapest around lunch time. Meet your local guide. Continue on the motor way to Eger. EGER is located at the mountain range of Bükk, and famous for its vineyards. Well known white and red wines come from this region, like Bull's Blood of Eger. Visit to a wine cellar and wine tasting with an imbiss in the Valley of the Beautiful Women. Overnight and dinner in the baroque city of Eger.

2.day: Breakfast in the hotel. Via Miskolc (200.000 inhabitants) we travel to Sárospatak. Through the northern wine region we are in this city. In this area we have long and warm autumns, which is a precondition for the famous wines. Wine tasting in one of the best known wine cellars. Boat ride on the river Bodrog to Tokaj. During your boat ride a cold lunch is served. We arrive in the world famous wine region Tokaj. We visit a wine cellar and taste the well known white wines (Dessert wines). Tokaj wine is wine of the kings and king of the wines. Our tour today is finished in Lillafüred at a small lake in the region. Dinner and overnight in Palace hotel in Lillafüred.

3.day: Breakfast in the hotel. Leave Lillafüred. Trip to Budapest. Our route goes through the mountain ranges of Mátra (another wine region). Arrival in Budapest around lunch time. First we pay a visit to a Wine House in Castle district, which is a kind of museum of the wine regions of Hungary. You are going to taste some other wines of Hungary.
A walking tour in Castle District with you guide. By bus you visit the other side of the city. Arrival at your hotel in the city center. Dinner in a typical Hungarian Csárda with folklore programme. Unlimited wine consume is included. Overnight in Budapest.

4.day:   After breakfast in the hotel, departure

* 1x dinner in a traditional Hungarian csárda with folklore and gypsy music

Through beautiful places of Hungary

Do you want to get acquainted with some beautiful places of Hungary. The best time is in spring or in autumn. In a pleasant atmosphere and weather you can enjoy your stay in Hungary.

1.day: Győr - Pannonhalma -Lake Balaton
In Győr you are meeting your guide. In a walking tour you visit Győr and then you continue to Lake Balaton. En route you can visit the Benedictine Abbey of Pannonhalma, a part of the world's cultural in heritage. (entrance extra to pay). Overnight and dinner at Lake Balaton in a 3 stars hotel, rooms with shower/WC.

2.day: Tihany - Badacsony - Keszthely
Today we are visiting the peninsula Tihany, Keszthely (palace of the noble family Festetics), en route we also visit wine hill Badacsony.

3.day: Veszprém - Herend
Today we are going to see Veszprém (city of the Hungarian queens) and Herend (famous porcelain manufacture). On our return tour we are going to stop in small village on the northern side of the lake and listen to an organ concert in the village church of Felsőörs. Dinner of the specialities of the region with wine. Entertainment music. Overnight at the hotel at Lake Balaton

4.day:   Székesfehérvár - Budapest
After visiting the old city center of Székesfehérvár we arrive in the capital city of Hungary in Budapest. You get acquainted with the historical sights of Budapest. Late in the afternoon we return to Lake Balaton. Dinner and overnight at Lake Balaton

5.day:   Puszta programme
Today we are going the Hungarian Puszta. After being greeted with a Hungarian brandy (Schnapps) and freshly made bread we change horses and make a coach ride, have a look at the horse show and enjoy a substantial lunch. Overnight and dinner at Lake Balaton

6.day:   This is a free day, we have organised a programme only for the afternoon. Enjoy a one hour boat ride on the Lake. Lunch, dinner and overnight in the hotel.

7.day    After breakfast departure
