Recently, the UK newspaper Daily Star featured Hungary on a top ten list of “safe travel destinations with low threat of terrorism.”

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has released information on which countries are considered a high-risk status, and which are a very low risk, to help the wondering and confused holidaymakers.

Many of the most popular British tourist destinations have been noted as dangerous destinations to travel due to the recent terror attacks.

Daily Star prepared a list of the world’s safest and most peaceful tourist spots for Brits in 2017. following the devastating news of the latest terror attacks.

Hungary appears in this list along with countries like Chile, Switzerland, Bhutan, Fiji, New Zealand or Iceland. Hungary is considered the 9th safest travel destination of the world. Daily Star wrote „Historic cities such as Budapest are full of architectural beauty and further afield, the European country offers stunning countryside.”
